What are English Apprenticeship Frameworks?

The Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England (SASE), otherwise known as English apprenticeship frameworks, set the minimum requirements that an apprenticeship training programme needs to meet for it to be considered as a recognised apprenticeship in England.

This page lists all English apprenticeship frameworks that we manage and maintain. These are split into two sections:

  • Pan Sector for all frameworks that cover multiple industries
  • Housing & Facilities for all frameworks directly relevant to that sector

We frequently review these frameworks to ensure that they remain suitable for the roles and sectors in which they are deployed. Please register here to learn about new consultations or contact us directly if you have any enquiries.

You can also view our range of Welsh Frameworks (SASW) and Modern Apprenticeships.
